Personnel Administrator at the Swedish Armed Forces

31st Air Base Battalion is looking for a temporary personnel administrator. You will be placed within the battalion staff and will closely collaborate with the battalion leadership and the Helicopter Wing's HR department.

The 31st Air Base Battalion consists of four companies and a battalion leadership with an associated battalion staff. The four companies include a Staff/Logistics Company, Protection Airfield Company, Air Base Security Company, and Basic Training Company.

The battalion's main tasks are to staff the wing's command team and to enable the companies to accomplish their tasks, which include operating the Malmen air base, operating a mobile air base, and basic training for conscripts.

Main Responsibilities

As a personnel administrator, you will support the battalion administratively within various HR and personnel processes. Tasks will include coordinating training for students and providing administrative support for all personnel decisions within the battalion. You will be part of a team that handles the battalion's personnel matters and provides direct support to managers with personnel responsibility at the 31st Air Base Battalion.

Your tasks will include:

• Preparing/compiling documentation for decisions and presentations
• Managing correspondence
• Drafting personnel decisions
• Providing administrative support
• Training and student administration
• Recruitment administration

The work is largely supported by the Swedish Armed Forces' operational management system SAP/PRIO.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative work.
• Previous service within a government agency.
• Proficient user of the Office suite.
• Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing.
• Driving license B

We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, unpretentious, and has a good ability to organize and prioritize their own work. You should also have good collaboration skills, be meticulous, and service-oriented as the work largely consists of supporting the workgroup and the unit to achieve our common goals. Enjoying varied tasks and occasionally high tempo is a prerequisite.

DESIRABLE

• Previous service in the Swedish Armed Forces.
• Experience in personnel administration/studies in HR
• Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' operational management system SAP/PRIO.

Employment type: Temporary until 2026-02-28 with a chance of extension, the position is civilian.

Employment rate: Full-time

Start date: August or by agreement

The position includes military placement, thus requiring simple physical tests and a health examination.
